U sklopu projekta Komunikacijski obrasci i informacijske potrebe Hrvata u Čileu, Argentini i Brazilu obranjena su u jesenskom roku akademske godine 2025./26. dva diplomska rada.
Prvi je rad Josipe Baran naslova Nakladnička aktivnost Hrvata u Čileu: bibliografska analiza časopisa Male Novine glasila hrvatskog iseljeništva u Punta Arenasu. Rad je obranjen 31. kolovoza 2026. godine pod mentorstvom prof. dr. sc. Ivane Hebrang Grgić, a bavi se novom fazom izdavanja časopisa Male novine u razdoblju od 1986. do 2025. Godine. Pohranjen je u repozitoriju Odraz Filozofskoga fakulteta Sveučilišta u Zagrebu i u repozitoriju Hrvatski iseljenički tisak.
Drugi je rad Ane Koštić naslova Iseljenički tisak Hrvata u Njemačkoj u drugoj polovici 20. stoljeća: analiza novina Živa zajednica. Rad je obranjen 15. rujna 2026. godine pod mentorstvom prof. dr. sc. Ivane Hebrang Grgić, a bavi se novinama Živa zajednica te ih stavlja u širi kontekst hrvatskog iseljeničkog tiska. Rad je pohranjen u repozitoriju Odraz Filozofskoga fakulteta Sveučilišta u Zagrebu i u repozitoriju Hrvatski iseljenički tisak.
As part of the project Communication Patterns and Information Needs of Croats in Chile, Argentina, and Brazil, two master’s theses were successfully defended during the autumn exams of the 2025/26 academic year.
The first thesis, by Josipa Baran, is titled Publishing Activity of Croatians in Chile: A Bibliographic Analysis of Male Novine, a Publication of the Croatian Diaspora in Punta Arenas. Defended on 31 August 2026 under the mentorship of Prof. Ivana Hebrang Grgić, the thesis examines a new phase in the publication of Male Novine between 1986 and 2025. It has been deposited in the Odraz repository of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Zagreb and in the Croatian Emigrant Press repository.
The second thesis, by Ana Koštić, is titled Croatian Emigrant Press in Germany in the Second Half of the 20th Century: An Analysis of the Newspaper Živa zajednica. Defended on 15 September 2026 under the mentorship of Prof. Ivana Hebrang Grgić, the thesis focuses on the newspaper Živa zajednica and places it within the broader context of the Croatian diaspora press. It has been deposited in the Odraz repository of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Zagreb and in the Croatian Emigrant Press repository.
